The Dauphin Ag Society Fair is a 3-day long event involveing over 60 directors from the Dauphin and surrounding communities. Originally starting mainly as a livestock event, it has now evolved into a weekend the whole family can enjoy! The fair features a full midway by Select Shows, livestock such as horses, cattle, and sheep, and an indoor kids play zone that provides activities for all ages including a petting zoo and educational agricultural games. The home living section is for the canning lovers, photographers, artists, gardeners, quilters, and everybody else to explore their talents and the popular Demolition Derby is the ideal show for the adrenalin lovers and thrill seekers. The Dauphin Agricultural Heritage Display showcases years of pictures and stories for the history buff in the family to discover. The fair site is conveniently located just behind the Parkland Recreation Complex with ample parking, washrooms, and vendors for food an drink all weekend.
The Dauphin Agricultural Society Fair would not be possible without the hundreds of community volunteers who contribute to it’s success over the last 129 years.
